Staying on the Right Side of Regulations and Requirements
With the numerous training regulations and requirements that senior care organizations must follow, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with record-keeping. Tracking the ever-changing regulations and requirements of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control), OIG (Office of the Inspector General), CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services), NFPA (the office responsible for life safety codes), and the FDA—not to mention the various state regulations—requires diligent tracking and training that continuously meets these regulations and training requirements. It’s important to have training tools and materials at hand that make staying up to date with requirements easy and manageable. Silverchair makes sure organizations stay up to date with federal and state training requirements through a process of constant course review, course updating, and course additions as needed. Our full-time Director of Regulatory Compliance routinely monitors the federal and state regulations to ensure that our clients receive the most relevant information and that their staff stays current on pressing topics and issues. We update our courses as new developments come through and we also add new courses as deemed necessary. These updates and additions are included in your system at no extra charge. Senior Care employees are required to participate in training and in-service on a regular basis—with our system, managers can be confident that their training is compliant with federal and state training requirements and regulations. |
