Silverchair Learning Systems was formed in as a business unit of Silverchair Science + Communications in 2002. We focus exclusively on the training and education of employees in Senior Care organizations, fixing the broken training processes of thousands of Senior Care facilities and helping hundreds of thousands of employees receive better training. Our mission is to provide the right products and services to train employees who work in a Senior Care setting. Our products improve the quality of care by enhancing the effectiveness of care providers, and improve the economic success of Senior Care organizations by advancing the efficiency and reliability of the training process. We knew we had to create the right product for your employees, so we tested it (during 18 months of research and development) in Senior Care settings. We learned that employees need a simple interface, that courses can’t scroll down the page, that courses need to be written for a 6th-8th grade reading level and have audio voiceover, and that the product needs to be available in English and Spanish. We found out that while course content and assignment scheduling are important, recordkeeping and reporting were also critical to successful use of the product. We built the company the same way: By developing the right combination of Senior Care knowledge and software skills. This allows us to deliver appropriate product capabilities in a way that makes our system easy to use AND to provide the right level of client service to make you successful. The results are in. Silverchair has been selected as the Preferred eLearning Vendor by many trade associations that work on behalf of Senior Care organizations.
